Streaming service Netflix is stopping the series FUBAR with Arnold Schwarzenegger after two seasons. American media report that the viewing figures for the second season were significantly below expectations.
The second season of FUBAR appeared on Netflix in early June and barely managed to reach the top 10 of most-watched series. After the third week, the popularity of the series declined, reports Deadline.
Schwarzenegger plays CIA agent Luke Brunner in FUBAR, who discovers that his daughter is also a CIA agent. The two must reluctantly work together during dangerous operations. In the second season, a new leading role was reserved for Carrie-Anne Moss, who played an East German spy who has a past with Brunner.
The announcement of the cancellation of the series comes three days after the 78th birthday of the actor and ex-politician.
