Wessel Nijman secured a spot in the semi-finals at the Dutch Darts Championship in Rosmalen on Sunday. The Dutchman won 6-1 against Ryan Searle. Danny Noppert’s tournament is over.
The first three legs went with the darts, but Nijman broke Searle in the fourth leg. The Brit then failed to win any more legs and was defeated without a chance against Nijman.
Nijman qualified for the semi-finals, which are also scheduled for Sunday evening. There, Niko Springer awaits, who won the German match against Ricardo Pietreczko (6-2).
Earlier on Sunday evening, Noppert was eliminated in the quarter-finals. Despite an average of 107, he lost 6-4 to Jonny Clayton. The Welshman faces world champion Luke Humphries in the other semi-final.
