New book by the Zoutpad author postponed after a fuss around the writer

The publication of the new book by the British author Raynor Winn has been postponed. The writer was discredited because she says she is questioned in the book Het Zoutpad ( The Salt Path ).

The new book by the 63-year-old Winn, on Winter Hill , would appear in October. Publisher Penguin Michael Joseph reports to the BBC that this has been postponed. In the book, Winn tells how she lost her house and takes a long walk with her sick husband.

The Observer reported earlier this week that the author of her former boss stolen and had to flee her house because the police were looking for her. There were also question marks about her husband Moth’s disease.

“Given the recent events, in particular the many rumors about Moth’s health, which Raynor Win and her family have caused a lot of suffering, it is our priority to support the author at the moment,” says publisher Penguin Michael Joseph.

“With this in mind, Penguin Michael Joseph, together with the author, decided to postpone the publication of on Winter Hill this year from October.” A new publication date will be announced later.

Earlier this week, Winn responded via her website to the statements of The Observer . She called the article “highly misleading” and contradicted the accusations.
