The teenager who was arrested on Monday for possible involvement in the death of Emiel den Hollander, the twin brother of singer S10, has been released. He remains a suspect in the case. The thirty-year-old man from Hoorn who was also arrested earlier this week remains in custody for the time being.
The 24-year-old Den Hollander fell under suspicious circumstances from a flat in Amsterdam on April 16. He was found seriously injured on the roof of a garage. He may have been held against his will in the flat.
Den Hollander was in a coma for nine weeks, from which he did not wake up.
In May, a 23-year-old man from Hoorn was arrested on suspicion of attempted manslaughter in the case. He is currently in custody.
The pre-trial detention chamber will rule on the detention of the thirty-year-old man on July 9.
