The American singer Miley Cyrus suffered a severe infection in her knee during the filming of a movie for her upcoming album. She eventually had to be helped in the hospital. “Even the surgeon thought it was disgusting.”
The singer says in the program Jimmy Kimmel Live! that her leg “started falling apart around the kneecap.” Cyrus: “The doctor asked, ‘Do you have any idea how you got this terrible infection?'”
The recordings were for a film with the album Something Beautiful. For this, the singer went to the attraction of the same name in Hollywood, where the names of famous people are engraved in stars in the sidewalk. There, Cyrus danced on the ground for a while. A few weeks later, she had to go to the hospital.
The singer was surprised that even the surgeon thought it was disgusting, she says. “They cut open bodies. They see people’s organs. And they told me I was disgusting,” says Cyrus.
The album Something Beautiful will be released on May 30. The premiere of the film of the same name is at the Tribeca Festival on June 6.
