The American Metal Band Megadeth Will Stop After More Than Forty Years. Frontman Dave Mustaine Announced A Final Album and A Farewell Tour in 2026 via The Band’s Website and Social Media on Thursday.
“We can’t wait for you to hear this album and see us on tour. If there was ever a perfect time to release a new album, it’s now,” Mustaine Writes in A Statement.
“This is also a perfect time to tell you that is our last studio album. We have made many friends over the years and i hope to see you all on our worldwide farewell tour. Donnes be angry, don’t be sad, be happy for us all and comebrate.”
Megadeth is SEEN as one of the biggest names in thrash metal, along with bands like metallica, slayer and anthrax. The band was founded in 1983 by Mustaine After He was Kicked Out of his Previous Band Metallica. The band Has Since Released Sixteen Studio Albums with Songs Like Peace Sells , Wake Up Dead , Hangar 18 and Symphony of Destruction .
Megadeth Will Be In The Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam in October as a Special Guest of Disturbed.
