Mark Volman (78), known for the 1930s Happy Together, died

Mark Volman, co-founder of the American band the Turtles, passed away on Friday at the age of 78. The band Became Famous for the Song Happy Together . Later, Volman Formed the Duo Flo & Eddy and Performed with Frank Zappa.

Accordance to his spokesperson, Volman passed away after a “Short and unexpected illness.” In 2020, he was diagnosed with lewy body dementia. Neverberness, the continued to perform afterwards.

They toured with Frank Zappa, Among Others, and Sang Background Harmonies for Other Artists, Such as on the song Hungry Heart by Bruce Springsteen.
