The man would also have sent photos of his genitals and sexually tinted messages. The police cannot say how many women he would have spread fake images. “He spread photos of some, others sent messages himself. In some cases it is a combination of everything,” says Nu.nl spokesperson.
The Deepfakes are said to have been distributed via WhatsApp groups, among other things. “But there are numerous options online,” says the spokesperson.
