Jochem Myjer and Sara Kroos nominated for Cabaret Prize Poelifinario

Jochem Myjer and Sara Kroos are nominated for a Poelifinario, the most important cabaret prize in the Netherlands. This was announced by the VSCD Cabaret Jury. The comedians are nominated with their shows Net alsof and Prikkelarme kermis.

Cabaret duo Plien & Bianca (Harrekidee!) and René van Meurs (Noodzakelijk Kwaad) are the other contenders. Myjer, Kroos and Van Meurs have all won a Poelifinario before. Myjer won in 2018 with Adem in, adem uit, Kroos in 2021 with her performance Verte and Van Meurs in 2023 with his show 2636.

In the Engagement category, four acts are nominated: Soundos El Ahmadi (Witte Ruis), Tim Fransen (Onbekommerd), Alex Ploeg (Unplugged) and Remko Vrijdag (Vrijdag Doemsdag).

Flip Noorman is a contender in the “kleinkunst” category with his show Animal Farm. Jan Beuving is the other nominee with his performance 2025-1. The Neerlands Hoop for the most promising theater maker in cabaret could go to Remy Evers with Stoorzender or Teun van den Elzen with OP POSITIE.

The VSCD awards the prestigious cabaret prizes to performances that were shown in the 2024/2025 season. The prizes will be awarded on Monday, October 13th during the Cabaret Gala in Theater Diligentia in The Hague.
