Hundreds of theory exams for driving license canceled due to network failure

Approximately four hundred people were unable to take their driving License Theory Exam on Tuesday Morning Due to a Malfunction in the CBR’s Computer Network. The Malfunction Prevented the First Two Rounds of Exams From Taking Place At All 21 Examam Locations in the Netherlands.

The Malfunction Occurred Early in the Morning, Reports NOS . Due to the malfunction, people who had an appointment from 9:00 am could not take their exam. Around 10:00 am, the problem was resolved, allowing later candidates to take their exams.

“Everything is Running Again Now,” Says a Spokesperson for the Central Office for Driving Aptitude (CBR) to NU.nl. “People who still have to come can simply take their exam.”

The Organization is Scheduling a New Appointment as soon as Possible for the four hundreds who could not take their exam. “We are trying to resolve this as well as possible,” says the spokesperson. “As far as we are concerned, people can take their exam this afternoon. But that also defends on the agenda of the Victims.”

The CBR is Currently Investigating The Exact Cause of the Malfunction. “It was a Network Malfunction. We are investigating What Went Wrong,” Says the Spokesperson. “It is of course annoying for the people, because they have to come to an exam location specifically. We are doing our best to resolve it as quickly as possible so that everyone can take their exam.”
