Herman Brood guitarist Dany Lademacher died at the age of 75

Belgian guitarist Dany Lademacher passed away on Thursday at the age of 75. His management confirms this to NU.nl. Lademacher suffered from heart failure.

Lademacher played for years in Wild Romance, Herman Brood’s backing band. Together with Brood, he wrote major hits such as Saturday Night (1978) and Never Be Clever (1979).

He was also involved in the feature film Wild Romance, about Brood’s life. A new album by Wild Romance, Too Much Is Never Enough, will be released on August 29.

With singer Bart Peeters, Lademacher played in the band The Radios. The group toured around the world in the nineties.
