Hélène Hendriks announced on Monday that she is “doing well” after recently undergoing back surgery. The presenter says she is trying “to be able to do everything again as soon as possible”.
“Just recovering, like everyone after surgery,” the 44-year-old Hendriks wrote on Instagram.
In the message, the presenter also thanks people who sent her cards, flowers and messages. “So incredibly sweet, cozy and sometimes moving to read!”
Hendriks is temporarily absent from her talk show De Oranjezomer due to the surgery. Johnny de Mol will take over the presentation until July 4. After that, Thomas van Groningen will succeed him.
The SBS6 talk show runs until August 15. It is not yet known exactly when Hendriks will return.
