The Health Council Advice The Ministry of Health to use the 9-Valent Vaccine Against HPV (Human Papillomavirus) in The Future. This can Further Increase the Effectiveness of the Vaccination. Currently, The 2-Valent Vaccine is Still Being Used.
The Current 2-Ralent Vaccine Protects Against the Two HPV Varants That Are Responsible for Most Cases of Cervical Cancer and Other Forms of Cancer. IT Prevents Approximately 90 percent or HPV Infections.
Accordance to the Health Council, The 9-Ralent Vaccine Protects just as well as the current vaccine. In Addition, IT Protects Against Seven Additional Types of HPV, Including the type Responsible for Genital Warts.
“With the 9-valent vaccine, More Health Benefits Can Be Achieved,” The Health Council Writes in Its Advice. It is now up to the ministry to determine whether and when the 9-valent vaccine will be sacrificed as standard.
HPV is a sexual transmitted virus. Almost Everyone Becomes Infected with HPV at Some Point, but in most cases it does not lead to health problems. In some cases, it can cause (precursors to) cancer. Vaccination Against HPV Has Been Offered to Children around the Age of Ten Since 2010.
