Halle Berry is not yet ready for a fourth wedding. The actress has already been proposed to by her boyfriend Van Hunt, but she has not yet given an answer. The American couple shares this in a joint interview with Today.com.
“So I did propose, and it’s still pending, as you can see,” says 55-year-old Van Hunt. The musician has been with the actress for over five years. “It’s hanging in the air. Maybe you can encourage her,” he says, laughing, to the journalist.
Berry explains that she hesitates because she has already been married three times. Her last divorce from Olivier Martinez resulted in a lengthy battle over the custody of their eleven-year-old son Maceo.
“We don’t feel we have to marry to show that we love each other,” says 58-year-old Berry. But the actress does not rule out another wedding. “Because this, of all the people I’ve been married to, is the person I should have actually married.”
The actress says her boyfriend will get an answer to his proposal “soon”.
