Halle Berry Has had to adjust her outfit for the opening night of the Cannes Film Festival. Her Original dress did not meet the new dress code.
The American Actress, Who is Part of the Main Jury This Year, Said at a Press Event on Tuesday that Her Dress was not allowed because of the wide train. “I had a great dress that I can’t wear the train is too wide. Of course, I respect the rules. So we had to come with something else.”
The Festival’s Organization Announced Shortly Before The Start That the Red Carpet Policy Has Been Tighted. “Out of Decency, Nudity on the Red Carpet – and at all Other Festival Locations – is Prohibited. Also, Large Dresses with Long Trains That Impede The Passage of Guests or the use of Seating are not Allowed,” The Organization Said.
Berry (58) is a jury member in the Main Competition this year, Chaired by Actress Juliette Binoche. Jeremy Strong, Known from Succession , director Payal Kapadia, filmmaker Hong Sang-soo and Writer Leïla Slimani are also part of the jury.
