The police have arrested four suspects in connection with a shooting incident on the A13 in June. The men allegedly pursued and shot at a taxi driver. The highway was closed for hours between Rotterdam and The Hague as a result.
The suspects are three men from Amsterdam, aged 16, 17 and 24, and a 17-year-old from Zandvoort. They are suspected of attempted manslaughter.
On the night of June 9 to 10, the men allegedly pursued the taxi driver with two cars on the highway. The cars then allegedly collided, after which shots were fired at the taxi. The taxi driver was injured.
One of the cars involved was later found abandoned in The Hague. Photos showed a taxi on the A13 with a bullet hole in a side window.
Tips from witnesses, among other things, helped the police arrest the men.
