Feyenoord in tube for CL-Loting: these are the possible opponents

Feyenoord will be in the draw in Nyon on Monday at 12:00 PM for the third qualifying round of the Champions League. There are six clubs that could be drawn against the Rotterdam team.

Feyenoord has a seeded status in the draw for the route of non-champions. This also applies to Club Brugge, Benfica, and the winner of the two-legged match between Rangers FC and Panathinaikos. Therefore, Feyenoord cannot face these clubs.

Feyenoord’s possible opponents are Fenerbahçe, OGC Nice, and the winners of the double confrontations between SK Brann-Red Bull Salzburg and Viktoria Pilsen-Servette FC.

Feyenoord’s first leg in the third round of the Champions League is on August 5 or 6, and the return leg is on August 12. If Feyenoord is eliminated, they will play in the Europa League main tournament next season.

If Feyenoord passes the third qualifying round, it must survive another play-off to reach the Champions League main tournament. The play-off matches will be played on August 19 or 20 and August 26 or 27. National champion PSV and Ajax are already assured of a place in the main tournament. It could be the first time since the 2002/2003 season that the Netherlands is represented by three clubs in the Champions League.
