According to Belgian media, it concerns a 35-year-old Canadian woman. Her exact cause of death and other circumstances of the death are not yet known.
The woman reportedly became unwell and was resuscitated on the spot. She later died in the hospital.
Tomorrowland fully opened yesterday after the devastating fire that reduced the main stage to ashes on Thursday. A new, smaller main stage was built in the night from Thursday to Friday. Headliners such as Martin Garrix, Axwell, and Vini Vici have performed there. Authorities emphasized that the festival could proceed safely even with the new stage.
