
Remco Evenepoel Delivered a Unique Performance on the Time Trial Bike on Wednesday. The Belgian also Conquered the European Title and is the first man ever to win both the European and World Time Trial Championships in One Year.
Evenepoel, as the time trial world champion, started as the big favorite in Loriol-sur-Drôme and immediately lived up to that status from the start. He CAUGHT UP With Stefan Küng, Not the Least of the Time Trials, Within Fifteen Minutes.
The 25-Year-Old Evenepoel Completed the Time Trial with a Length or 24 kilometers in Exactly 28 minutes and 26 Seconds. The Gap To Number Two Filippo Ganna was Gigantic with 43 Seconds. Niklas Larsen finished third with more than a minute behind.
Evenepoel was not the only one to score a double in France on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, Swiss Rider Marlen Reusser won the Battle Against the Clock in the Women’s Race. Reusser also won World Championship Gold in Rwanda Last Week.
