Marco Schuitmaker will release his second album on June 20. The singer, known for his hit Angel, is calling the album I succeeded (I’ve Succeeded). The new single What should I do for that (What Would I Have to Do for That) will be released on Thursday.

“I am happy, proud and relieved, but above all grateful,” says the 26-year-old Schuitmaker about the album. “For me, it is a good reflection of everything I have been able to experience over the past three years. Everything that was in my head, in combination with all those beautiful and specific moments,” he says about his inspiration.

Schuitmaker already released the album My dream (My Dream) in 2018. His major breakthrough followed in 2022, when his version of Angel (Guardian Angel), written by Pierre Kartner, became a major hit. The song has now been listened to 80 million times on Spotify.

This was followed by hits such as Here everything is allowed (Everything Is Allowed Here) with Donnie and From Goes to Purmerend (From Goes to Purmerend) with Jan Smit.
