Chris Columbus, The Director of the First Two Harry Potter films, Looks with Envy At The Upcoming Series About The Book Series. It still Pains him that he had to leave out elements from the books from the films. The series Probable Has Room for that.
The film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone had a length of 2.5 hours. That was not enough to include all the elements from the book. “I Still Sometimes Lie Awake About It,” Says Columbus to Radiotimes .
For Example, The Director would have liked to have had The Poltergeist Peues in his Film. In The Books, Peeves Regularly Thwarts Harry and His Friends. Initially, Rik Mayall was to play the ghost in the 2001 film. The scenes were possible removed from the film.
Columbus would also have liked to have another exciting scene at the end of the film. “In the first book there is a scene in which Hermione and Harry Taste Potions in one of the challenges, in which one of them can at any moment. It’s like that great chess game we had just before that, only we dide time for it.”
The Director Hopes That These Events Will Be Included in The New Harry Potter Series, In which he is not Involved. “They have ten hours, I hope they use them well,” Says Columbus, Who Wishes the Makers of the Series Much Success.
“I’m a little jealous. There was so much we could get into the movies. They keep it short, more than 2.5 hours long, but I still struggled with it.”
The Harry Potter Series from Streaming Service HBO Max is Currently Being Made. At the end of May, the new actors who play Harry, Hermione and Ron Were Announced.
