Cassie Ventura has asked the judge to take into account the seriousness of her experiences when determining the punishment for her ex Diddy. The singer says he is afraid that he will take revenge when he will be released soon.
In a three -page victim statement, Ventura writes that the much -discussed Diddy has put her under pressure from the age of nineteen for more than ten years. She speaks about violence, threats, forced sex and control over her career.
“While I was nine months pregnant with my son, I testified for a full courtroom for the most traumatic and horrible chapter from my life for four days in May,” writes Ventura.
During the trial, Diddy’s lawyers stated that their relationship was a “grand modern love story”. Ventuar contradicts that. “Nothing about this story is grand, modern or loving. This was a terrible decade of my life, tainted by abuse, violence, forced sex and humiliation.”
The singer says she still has nightmares and flashbacks. She also fears that Diddy will seek retribution against her and others who have testified in the case.
Diddy hears on Friday what punishment he gets. The Public Prosecution Service demands a prison sentence of more than eleven years. His lawyers asked fourteen months in prison last week. Diddy has been stuck for a while and would be released this year with that lower punishment.
