In the night from Monday to Tuesday, thieves stolen 600,000 euros in gold from the French Natural History Museum in Paris. The theft was discovered on Tuesday morning by a cleaner, reports Le Parisien .
The burglars managed to invade the building with a grinding tol and burner. According to the museum, gold with an “invaluable historical value” has been captured. It would be about unprocessed gold clogs with a total weight of approximately 6 kilos.
According to an anonymous police source, the alarm and video surveillance of the museum had been out of operation for weeks after a cyber attack in July. The thieves would have been aware of this.
