A 19-year-old British man died in the night from Sunday to Monday after falling from a balcony of a party hotel in Ibiza. It is already the third fatal fall this year at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio.
The man fell from the third floor and was already dead when the ambulance arrived. The local authorities have started an investigation. Based on camera footage, the local police suspect for the time being that it was a fatal accident.
At the beginning of July, a 26-year-old Scot died in the same way while celebrating his birthday with his friends. He fell from the fourth floor and was killed instantly. On April 27, a 19-year-old Italian woman also fell from a balcony on the fourth floor. Her body was found by a hotel employee.
The hotel is known for the many balconies that border the swimming pool, where many parties take place. Many holidaymakers join the party from their balconies. All balconies have a balustrade.
