PSV trainer Peter Bosz does not necessarily think it is necessary to get a replacement for Ruben van Bommel transfer free. The attacker is not expected to be in action this season due to a serious knee injury.
After Van Bommel’s disappearance, PSV was associated with various transfer -free players. They can be met outside the normal transfer period. One of the options mentioned was Hakim Ziyech, with whom Bosz previously worked at Ajax.
Yet the trainer seems to be planning to do it with his current selection. “I think we have good players and a good selection,” said Bosz Friday, a day before the game with Excelsior.
Van Bommel was injured in the match against Ajax (2-2) last weekend. Alassane Pléa and Myron Boadu also recover from injuries. “After Pléa we already put on Boadu,” said Bosz. “And we are spacious in the offside players.”
