Robert Jan and Suzanne, who appeared in the previous season of the RTL program B&B Vol liefde, are no longer together. Suzanne announced this on Instagram on Wednesday.
Robert Jan hosted several women at his bed and breakfast in the Scottish Highlands last year, including Suzanne.
Suzanne writes that she entered the B&B Vol liefde adventure with confidence and enthusiasm, but especially with an open heart. “I sincerely enjoyed this adventure and my time with Robert Jan and did everything I could to make it succeed.”
The breakup causes her much pain. “Unfortunately, reality sometimes turns out differently than you think or hope, and it has become clear that our norms and values do not entirely coincide.”
“My heart is in pieces,” she continues. “But I know that choosing myself now is the right thing to do, even if it’s not easy.”
