Ava Max has postponed her scheduled performances in Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The American singer feels that the show is not yet good enough. She was scheduled to perform in the Netherlands on November 3.
The 31-year-old Max calls postponing the tour “the most difficult decision” she has ever made. “When I perform for you, it has to be at a level that I’m happy with, and it’s not yet,” she writes on Instagram.
“I prefer to be on stage, but to give a show that you deserve, I need more time,” Max continues. “I promise you it will be worth the wait. I love you all and can’t wait to see you. Soon, I promise.”
The tour was scheduled to start on September 5 in Los Angeles. A performance was planned in AFAS Live in Amsterdam on November 3.
Max had her international breakthrough in 2018 with the single Sweet but Psycho. Her new album Don’t Click Play will be released on August 22.
