Astronaut James Lovell (97) of famous Apollo 13 mission passed away

The American Former astronaut James Lovell has passed away at the age of 97. He Became Known for the Apollo 13 Moon Mission. Duration this mission, the famous Words were ghosts: “Houston, we have a problem.”

The American Space Agency Nasa Announced Lovell’s Death on Friday. “His Character and Steadfast Courage Helped Our Country Reach the Moon and Turn a Potential Tragedy Into A Success. We Mourn His Passing, But also Celebrate His Achievements,” Nasa Writes.

Lovell was one of the astronauts on the apollo 13 flight. This flight was supposed to land on the moon, but the mission was jeopardized by an explosion in an oxygen tank. Due to the Damage, the Power Supply, Water, and Oxygen of the Main Spacecraft Failed.

The Astronauts Used the Lunar Lander to Supply Themselves with Oxygen, Water, and Energy Dooring the Four-Day Journey Back to Earth. They also used the lunar lander’s engine to performance corrections and to fly around the moon. Approximately three days after the accident, The Crew Landed Safely on Earth.

Lovell was also an astronaut killing the apollo 8 mission. He Became one of the first three astronauts to fly to the moon and orbit the moon. It resulted in the iconic photo of the blue-and-white Earth in Black Space, which you can see below.
