Ariana Grande is voicing the main character in the upcoming animated film Oh, The Places You’ll Go!. Josh Gad will also be heard in the film, which will be released in theaters in March 2028.
Film studio Warner Bros. announced this on Tuesday. The film is an adaptation of the children’s book of the same name by Dr. Seuss from 1990.
Grande is happy to have been brought on for the project. “I love this book, I love this script, I love the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss,” she writes in her Instagram Stories. “I am so excited to be a part of this.”
The American singer also shares the photo below, in which she can be seen with Gad behind a microphone. Gad previously voiced the snowman Olaf in the animated film Frozen. The American actor also appeared in the live-action film Beauty and the Beast.
The script for Oh, The Places You’ll Go! is written by Rob Lieber. The direction is in the hands of Jon M. Chu and Jill Culton. The book of the same name revolves around a young adventurer who braves the ups and downs of life. The book is full of inspiring messages to the reader.
Grande, who is known for songs like thank u, next, positions and My Everything, previously appeared in the film Wicked, which was also directed by Chu. The sequel Wicked: For Good will be released in November. It was recently announced that Grande will also play a role in the film Meet the Parents 4, with Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro.
