Curtis’ parents Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis were popular in the United States in the 1950s and early 1960s. Both won Golden Globes and were nominated for an Oscar. “I saw that they were incredibly successful and that then it slowly became less, until it was gone. That is very painful.”
