Ferrari recovers after poor qualification: ‘really have to improve that’

For ferrari, the sun shone a bit again on Sunday in their own imola after a disastrous qualifying on Saturday. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc Fought Their Way Forward from Elevth and Twelfth Starting Positions.

“It was definitely a highlight for me this year to race in front of our fans,” Hamilton Smiled afterwards. There was also something to cheer for those fans, as Hamilton anyful finished in fourth place and leclerc finished sixth.

“There was a lot of pressure, because we are having a hard time with the car. ESpecany in qualifying,” Hamilton Told F1 TV . “To Have Such A Strong Race Then Gave A Good Feeling.”

“I can’t remember a race in which I Went Forward So Well,” Hamilton stateed contentedly. “It also feels different in The Red Ferrari. So it was great to finally Feel the Connection with the Car.”

Team Boss Fred Vasseur was also delighted. “It was a good Sunday for us, with good recovery and a good pace. This is thanks to the team and the drivers. We can be proud. But we paid the price of a bad Qualification. We really have to do better on Saturday.”

‘Don’t want to jinx anything’

Hamilton Didn’t Want to get ahead of himself. There is Certainly No Question of a Celebratory Mood Yet. “I don’t want to jinx anything, but of course there are a lot of positives to take away from today. We had the speed, but we just need to see why it is working now.”

For Leclerc, a Strong Race ended in a minor key. In The Final Phase he was one of the drivers on older Tires. In a duel with Alex Albon, he pushed the Williams Driver Off the track. Ferrari then Instructed Leclerc to give Back Fifth Place.

“I don’t regret anything. This is one of the races where you have to give everything,” Leclerc Said afterwards. “That also mean you have to race with your elbows wide. You go to the limit and sometimes about it. But you have to do something if you start elevth.”
