The Australian Scientific Institute Csiro Conducted Research in Six Metropolitan Regions, Both Inland and On The Coast. “Three-quarters of the waste we find on Our Beaches is plastic,” Says Researcher Denise Hardesty. “And flexible plastics, Such as food packaging, are the most harmful to wildlife.”
The Researchers Conducted 1,907 Counts at Different Locations in the Six Areas. They found a total of 8,383 pieces of waste. Must or it was polystyrene (a type or styrofoam), cigarette butts, food packaging or bottle caps.
