Taylor Swift is not interested in space trip: ‘Cold and scary’

Taylor Swift is not interested in a trip to space. The singer said in an interview with BBC Radio 2 that she has “absolutely no fascination with it” and the thought of such an adventure mainly scares her.

“It’s cold, it’s scary, I don’t know if I can come back,” said the 35-year-old Swift. “It doesn’t matter if you go, because everyone thinks you didn’t go anyway. So no, there’s no reason to do that.”

Presenter Scott Mills, who conducted the interview with the singer, said that Mariah Carey and Ed Sheeran had also previously indicated that they were not interested in space travel.

Katy Perry, a colleague of Swift, did take that step this year. She flew with five other women, including presenter Gayle King, into space in a Blue Origin rocket. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ space company previously took actor William Shatner and presenter Michael Strahan briefly outside the atmosphere.
