Verstappen clocks third time in hectic second free practice GP Singapore

Max Verstappen Clocked the Third Fastest Time in the Second Free Practice for the Singapore Grand Prix on Friday. The Session was Chaotic, With Two Red Flags and an Incident in the Pit Lane. Oscar Piastri was The Fastest.

Verstappen Went Around the Marina Bay Street Circuit in 1: 30,857. That was 0.143 Seconds Slower Than Piastri. Isack Hadjar (+0.132) Surprisingly finished second.

Fernando Alonso, The Fastest in the First Practice, Impressed Again a Few Hours later with the fourth time. The Spaniard also Conceded Less Than Two Tens to the Fastest McLaren Driver. Lando Norris (+0.483) Completed the Top Five at a Slightly Greater distance.

After about Twenty Minutes, George Russell caused the First Red Flag. The Mercedes Driver gets used Straight Into the Tire Stack. Althegh the Impact was significant, hey his car running and managed to bring it back to the pits. Russell Did Not Take Any Further Action After His Crash.

A Few Minutes after the restart of the session, Things Went Wrong Again. This time it was Liam Lawson Who Lost Control or His Car and Crashed Into The Wall. He lost his right front tire on impact and came to a stop after a significant shower of sparks.

Leclerc May Face Penalty After Incident in Pit Lane

The Chaos Didn’t Stop There. Shortly Before the Green Flag was Waved, Several Drivers Exited Their Pit Box At The Same Time, Including Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris. Things Went Wrong With Those Two Drivers. Leclerc was Sent Out too Early and Crashed Into Norris in the Pits.

Leclerc was Able to Continue, Norris had to go to the pit box to get a new front wing. The Incident May Have Consquences. Both drivers must report to the stewards later in the day.

Althegh he was the fastest, Verstappen can look back on a good first day in Singapore. Red Bull Expected a Difficult Weekend, Despite Verstappen’s Victories in The Last Two Races, in Italy and Azerbaijan. Yet the Red Bull Driver was Able to Compete with the Fastest Drivers All Day. The Regularly Sounded Satisfied With His Car On The Radio.
