Gaming authority threatens with a fine for influencers due to illegal gambling

The Gaming Authority is Threatening to Fine Three Influencers for Illegal Gambling. These are Turcos, Buurtwacht and Stepunspl play.

The Influencers Posted Videos on Their Social Media Platforms in which Gambling Took Place at Illegal Providers. They also encourage their followers to play with Those providers. The Gaming Authority had Previously Pointed Out to the Influencers That Promotion Illegal Gambling Is Not Permitted and Is Now Imposing A Penalty Payment.

“This obliges them to remove the existing content within 48 hours and no new advertising for illegal providers may be made,” the regulator writes. If this happens, The Influencer Will Receive A Fine or 25,000 euros per Violation, with a maximum or 75,000 euros.

If the influencers do not respond, the platforms they use (Such as youtube and instagram) Will be Involved to Ensure That The Content is Tasks Offline As Quickly As Possible.
