Ukrainian group would be behind a sabotage campaign
The German justice suspects a larger Ukrainian group of it in September 2022 to have damaged the gas pipelines on the bottom of the Baltic Sea. They would have done that through explosions. The pipes are between the Northern German Lubmin and the Russian Vyborg.
Due to the explosions, gas could no longer be transported between Russia and Germany. At that time that was no longer happening due to European sanctions against Russia.
Both Russia and the West see the explosions as a sabotage campaign. Different parties point to each other and nobody claimed responsibility for the attack. So now it seems that a Ukrainian group is behind the attacks.
