Dutch baseball players get semi -finals in their own country after victory over Croatia

The Dutch Kingdom Team Reached the Semi-Finals of the European Baseball Championship in Their Own Country On Thursday. Head coach Evert-Jan ‘t Hoen’s team won 3-1 Against Croatia in Rotterdam.

The Kingdom Team Convincingly Qualified for the Quarter-Finals Through Victories about Great Britain (9-3), France (13-4) and Israel (9-1). The Family Stadium was Filled to Just about Halfy Capacity with Approximately Fourteen Hundred Spectators for the Orange Team’s Fourth Appearance.

Lars Huijer was the winning pitcher for the kingdom team. Croatia took the lead in the first inning via Andrija Tomic. The 1-1 was credited to Didi Gregorius in the Same inning.

The Kingdom Team Hopes to Become European Champion for the 25th Time on Saturday. Head coach ‘t Hoen is playing at the European Championship with a mix of experienced baseball players and young talents. With Gregorius, Jonathan Schoop and Shamon Martis, he has three players at his disposal who played in the American Major League.
