The DMA is an important European Tech Law that was introduced in November 2022. With the law, the European Union Wants to CURB the Power of the Six Largest Tech Competitionies and Boost Competition. These are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon, Meta and Tiktok Parent Company Bytedance.
The EU also Wants To Ensure That Users’ Privacy is Better Guaranteed. For Example, The Tech Law Bond Bonds Apple and Google To Allow Other App Stores on iPhones and Android smartphones. This allows you as a user to determine in which store you buy your apps.
Accordance to Apple, the EU must withdraw the DMA or Least Replace it with a more appropriate law. If this does not Happen, Certain Products May No Longer Be Avlessable in the EU in the Future, The Company States.
