The Italian Actress Claudia Cardinal Has died at the age of 87 near Paris. Her agent reported this to news agency AFP on Tuesday Evening.
Cardinal Starred in Many Italian Films in The Sixties, Including Rocco and His Brothers , Luchino Visconti’s The Leopard , and Federico Fellini’s 8½ .
She Gained International Fame With The Spaghetti Western Once Upon A Time in the West from 1968 by Sergio Leone. She also played an important role in the Adventure Film Fitzcarraldo from 1982 by Werner Herzog. In Total, She Starred in More Than 150 Films, Reports La Repubblica .
“I have live more than 150 Lives: Prostitute, Saint, Romantic, Every kind of Woman. And it’s Wonderful To Have the Chance to Change Yourself Again and Again,” Cardinale Said in 2002, When She Receilived A Lifetime Award Award. “I have worked with the most important directors. They gave me everything.”
Cardinale was born in 1938 in Tunis, The Capital of Tunisia. She came into contact with the film world after winning a beauty contest and taking a trip to the venice film festival.
“She Leaves us a legacy of a free and inspired woman, both in her life as a woman and in her career as an artist,” her agent said. Cardinal passed away in the Presence of Her Children in Nemours, Near Paris, Where She Lived.
