“She is there for the family now, that is much more important than riding your eighteth world championship … I’ve lost count.” The 38-Year-Old Vos Became World Champion on the Road in 2006, 2012 and 2013.

Ten Dam Has Called Up 31-Year-Old Femke de Vries, Who is Vos’ Teammate at Visma-Lease A Bike, As A Replacement. “She is the woman in form, with a second place in the tour of the ardèche,” Says the National Coach. “But Vos is not Necessarily Replaceable. So I don’t want to put femke in those shoes. I don’t want to put that pressure on. But we do have a very strong force.”

The Dutch Team also Consists of Demi Volling, Anna van der Breggen, Puck Pieterse, Shirin van Anrooij, Yara Kastelijn and Pauliena Rooijakkers.
