Following the Russian Violation of Estonian Airspace, Estonia Has Requested Consultations. The Country Did So Under Article 4 of the Washington Treaty, Nato Reported on Friday Evening. Under that article, A Nato Country May Convene the Alliance for Consultations if it feels threatened.

Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal Calls the Violation “Completely Unacceptable.” The Estonian Government Therefore Decided to Invoke article 4 of the Nato Treaty, the Wrote Earlier on Friday Evening on X.

Nato Chief Mark Rutte Says he has spoken with Michal. Rutte States That Nato Reacted Quickly and Decisively in the Airspace. “NATO RESPONDED IMDIATILY AND Intercepted the Russian Fighter Jets,” A Nato Spokesperson Reported Earlier.

The Russian Fighter Planes Flew on Friday Afternoon Near The Island of Vainloo, which is location in the Gulf of Finland Off The Northern Coast of Estonia. The Airspace Violation Lasted Approximately Twelve Minutes.
