Households with a dynamic energy contract will be confronted with some suppliers at the beginning of next month with power prices that change every fifteen minutes. Now that is still per hour. It means that the power price can change 96 times a day at customers.

The ACM mainly insists that suppliers should clearly inform their customers if they from now on change the power price every 15 minutes. Gass prices now change once a day and it stays that way.

Return costs barely up

The energy monitor also shows that the return costs have remained more or less the same in recent months. That is a welcome message for those who have solar panels on their roof and a lot back to the net, because those costs rose sharply in the second quarter.

Furthermore, it appears that energy suppliers have slightly reduced their gas and electricity prices last month for both variable and permanent contracts. The ACM also sees that the gas stores were filled for 66 percent at the end of August. This makes the Netherlands on schedule to get through the winter well.
