The seal that has leg near the Amstel river in Amsterdam Since Thorsday is the same that was SEEN in Utrecht Last Week. Researchers at the Pieterburen Seal Center Concluded this after comparence photos.
The researchers can tell it’s the same seal by the spots on its skin. “We Laid Several Photos Side by Side This Morning,” Says Emmy Venema from the Seal Center.
“We see matching spots on the forehead, as well as on the left flank of the animal. And there are distinctive bald patches on the right side of the neck.”
The Seal is still on the rafts of an Amsterdam Rowing Club on the Amstel, Near Somerslust Park, On Friday. The Animal is in Good Health. Pieterburen Previously Called for People to Leave the Seal Alone and Enjoy It From A distance. The Animal is Attracting a Lot of Attention.
A week and a half ago, the seal was swimming in The Merwedekanaal in Utrecht. Many people came to see it there as well.
It is more common for seals to swim in Dutch Inland Waters. The Seal Center Receives An Average of One Report by Month About this.
