Two young people arrested after 'serious' threat to school in Almere

The Police Arrested Two Minor Boys on Thursday on Suspicion of Sending a “Serious” Threatening Email to the Oostvaarders College in Almere. The Police had Already decided that there was no reason to close the school on Friday.

“There is Currently No Reason to Believe That There Is An Immediate Danger,” The Police Reported. The Police Did say that officers will be visible present at and around the school on Friday. The Police also announced additional checks.

The Police and the Municipality Are in Close Contact With The School and Those Involved. If the threat Level Changes, “Appropriate Measures Will Still Be Tasks in Consultation with the Municipality and the School.” The Oostvaarders College is a havo, vwo, and gymnasium school.

The Police Tracked Down the Young People From Dronten and Almere Through Close Cooperation between Neighborhood and Youth Officers, Detectives, and Colleagues From the Digital Expertise Department. The Investigation Into the Involvement of the Suspects is still ongoing.
