ProRail Evacuates Approximately Four Hundred Travelers from a Stranded Train on the High-Speed Line (HSL) Between Rotterdam and Breda on Thursday Evening, NS Reports. The Railway Organization Decided to Do So After A Fire Alarm in the Locomotive, Causing the Train to Become Stranded Around 6:20 pm.
Accordance to an NS Spokesperson, Hundreds or Travelers Are Being Tasks Off The Train. The evacuees will then transported to Breda Station by NS Buses. Accordance to the fire department on site, there is no fire, only smoke. No one was injured.
Due to the incident, no trains are running on the high-speed line Between Breda and Rotterdam Central. The Expectation is that the delay Will Last Until Approximately 8:45 pm.
The Regular Train Track Remains in Use, But An Adjusted Timetable Applies. For Example, Feer Intercity and Sprinter Trains are running to make room for international trains that are now also running via that track.
