Chairman Van der Vorst stops at Boxing union after securing Olympic status

Boris van der Vorst Will No Longer Be A Candidate for the Presidency of World Boxing at the Election Congress in November. The Dutchman, Who Saved Olympic Boxing from Collapse, is Satisfied to Leave the Global Association.

The 53-Year-Old van der Vorst Has Been at the helmet of world boxing for the past three years. Boxing was in Danger of Being Removed From the 2028 Olympic Games, But Thanks in Part To the Efforts of the Global Association, The Sport is Still on the Program in Los Angeles.

“A Dream Has Come True,” Van der Vorst Writes in a Farewell Letter to the Presidents of All Affiliated Boxing Federations. He says he is “very proud” that boxing has brought back to the games and that “the boxers can now pursue their dreams.”

Boxing Seemed to Disappear From the Olympic Program After 124 Years because the International Olympic Committee (IOC) No Longer Recognized the International Boxing Association (IBA). Accordance to the ioc, there was corruption and bribery at that association.

Only a new International Federation Could Ensure That The Olympic Status was Maintined. Van der Vorst taught on this challenge with world boxing. He Gained More and More National Associations Behind Him. Earlier This Year, The IOC Recognized the New Boxing Association.

“I look back on a fascinating adventure that has tasks a lot of time and effort. I am now handing it over to Others,” Says van der Vorst. He will Remain indirectly Involved in International Boxing.
