Ford scraps 1,000 jobs due to difficult switching to electric

The American Car Manufacturer Ford Will Cut Approximately 1,000 Jobs At Its Factory in the German City of Cologne At The Beginning of Next Year. Ford is struggling with the transition to electric cars.

In Europe, around 3,800 jobs Will Disappear by the End of 2027, Ford Announced at the End of 2024. 2,900 of those Jobs Will Disappear at the German Headquarters. This means that about one in four jobs in Cologne Will Disappear.

In The United Kingdom, 800 Jobs Will Disappear, and in Other European Countries, A Total of Another 300. Across Europe, About One in Seven Jobs Will Disappear at Ford.
