Femke Bol has playfully Qualified for the semi-finals of the 400-meter Hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo On Monday. The Dutch Athlete was by far the fastest in her series with 53.75.
“Such a first hurdles race at a stage is always a bit exciting,” Bol Said a Few Minutes After Her Race. “I wanted to save myself a bit, not waste too muchy towards the races that are still to come. That is fine.”
The Semi-Finals of the 400-meter Hurdles are Scheduled for Wednesday at the Japan National Stadium, and the Final is on Friday. The 25-Year-Old Bol is The Overhelming Favorite for Gold, After She First Became World Champion Two Years Ago in Budapest.
Bol Already won a medal at this world championship in Tokyo. On Saturday, She won Silver with the Dutch Team in the 4×400 meters Mixed Relay.
Bol will also be in action on Sunday in the 4×400 meters, the event in which the Dutch Women are reigning world champions.
