
Michael van Gerwen Narrowly Reached the Eighth Finals of the World Series of Darts Finals on Friday. The Darter won 5-6 Against Fellow Dutchman Wessel Nijman in Amsterdam.
Van Gerwen had a Poor Start and Quickly Fell Behind 2-0 in Legs. The three-time world champion fought his way back into the match. Van Gerwen Recorded Better Figures in Terms of Average about Three Darts (104 to 101), but was inaccurate on the doubles.
Nijman Recorded a Ten-Darter in the Ninth Leg and Even Got A Match Dart at A 5-4 Lead. He did not take advantage of it, after which Van Gerwen came back to 5-5. ‘Mighty Mike’ Kept His cool and won the deciding leg. In The Second Round, Van Gerwen Will Face the Winner of the Match Between Rob Cross and Haupai Puha.
Earlier in the Evening, Kevin Doets won his first-round match Against Jermaine Wattimena: 6-5. He will face Luke Humphries in the Eighth Finals. Later in The Evening, Danny Noppert Will Play Against Stephen Bunting. On Saturday, Raymond van Barneveld Will Start the Final Tournament with a Match Against Cor Dekker.
The World Series of Darts Finals Last Until Sunday. Luke Littler won The Tournament Last Year by defeating Michael Smith in the Final. Littler was Responsible for Van Gerwen’s Elimination in The Semi-Finals.
