Verstappens former teammate Ricciardo stops racing and becomes Ford ambassador

Former Formula 1 Driver Daniel Ricciardo is retiring from Racing and Becoming an Ambassador for Ford. Ricciardo was Max Verstappen’s Teammate at Red Bull Racing Between 2016 and 2018 and Helped Him Out Last Season.

“My Love for Racing Remains Strong, But My Racing Days Are Behind Me,” Ricciardo Said Friday at the Announcement of his Ambassadorship for Ford. “It made me happy and I have memories for the rest of my life.”

The 36-Year-Old Ricciardo was Max Verstappen’s Teammate at Red Bull Between 2016 and 2018. Later, The Australian also Raced for Renault, McLaren and the Racing Bulls, Red Bull’s Training Team. There was tasks out of the car last season after poor results. He was replaced by Liam Lawson

Ricciardo was active in Formula 1 for a Total of Thirteen Seasons. He drove 257 Races and Achieved Eight Victories and 32 Podiums. The Driver was loved by fans for his humor and cheerful character.

His last race in Formula 1 was on September 22, 2024. Ricciardo Finished Eighteenth in Singapore, but tok the Fastest Race Lap from Lando Norris in the Last Lap. As a result, the brit missed a point in the battle for the world title, which verstappen would be possible.

From Next Season, Ford Will Have A Partnership With Red Bull. Together with the car brand, the factory team will make the engine for the red bull racing cars in formula 1.
